Overview

Tavro is a travel companion for Indian passport holders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted service providers only to run authentication, cloud infrastructure, secure payments, eSIM fulfillment, notifications, support, and app operations.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in, we may collect account identifiers, email address, display name, authentication provider details, and related security metadata.

Travel profile information

We collect information you choose to save in Tavro, such as held visas, wishlist countries, visited countries, travel stamps, optional profile photo, and app preferences.

Optional location information

If you grant location permission, Tavro may use your approximate location while the app is open to personalize travel features. You can withdraw location access in iOS Settings.

Notifications and device data

To send travel alerts, we may store push notification tokens and basic device delivery metadata.

Orders and support

If you use eSIM or paid features, we may process order details, payment status, product details, and fulfillment references. Payment card details are handled by secure payment providers and are not stored by Tavro.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Tavro app experience.
  • Authenticate users and protect accounts.
  • Save visas, wishlist, visited countries, travel stamps, and trip preferences.
  • Show relevant visa guidance and held-visa unlocks.
  • Send rule-change alerts and account notifications.
  • Process payments, orders, eSIM fulfillment, refunds, and support requests.
  • Improve reliability, safety, fraud prevention, and app operations.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations.

How We Share Information

We share information only when needed to provide Tavro, comply with the law, protect users, or operate the service. This may include cloud hosting, authentication, payment, notification, support, and eSIM fulfillment providers.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Tavro and for legitimate business, security, legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

You can delete your Tavro account from the app profile screen. Account deletion removes your Tavro account profile and personal app data, except for records we must retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, transaction, or support obligations.

If account deletion fails because a recent sign-in is required, sign out, sign in again, and retry deletion. You can also contact support from the Support page.

Your Choices

  • Manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Manage location permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Remove saved location data from the app where available.
  • Delete your account from the profile screen.
  • Contact support for privacy or data requests.

Children

Tavro is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International Processing

Tavro may process information in countries where we or our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information according to this policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Tavro changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
